At this month, we introduce you a garnished sushi, using by seasonal spring vegetable , also a ethnic food which using by butterbur.

1. Garnished Sushi with spring vegetables

By using bamboo shoot and butterbur, and fresh soft seaweed, we make a Garnished Sushi which is able to savor delicate taste of Japanese food.
Nutrition of Butterbur is dietary fiber and potassium.
Dietary fiber is effective in diet, so it is just ingredient for Anti-Metabolic Syndrome Recipe!
Also potassium condition water balance of your body, and is effective in going down the swelling, and in prevention of high blood pressure.

2.Simmered butterbur and deep-fried tofu with coconut milk

By using coconut milk and fish sauce, this simmered dish metamorphose from Japanese meals into Thai meals!
Nutritional values of coconuts milk are potassium, magnesium, and iron.
Iron is effective in prevention of anemia. Also magnesium helps to relief muscular pain.
And butterbur is rich in dietary fiber as we mention above.
Bittersweet taste of butterbur goes well ice-cold beer!!

This month, we introduce you healthy vegetable sweets, which are suitable for the present of Mother’s day, or cute sweets of spring picnic!

1. Spinach and sesame paste cookie

By adding spinach puree, which is lasting vivid green after baking. Also sesame paste adds savory smell to this cute green flower cookie!
This pretty cookie will refresh you after daily hard work, and go well with a cup of Darjeeling tea!

2. Soybean flour Swiss roll cake with green soybean cream

This is the second version of Spring Swiss roll cake!
At this time, we make brown paste with soybean flour, and wrap green soybeans cream with it. And this paste gain savory smell after baking, also goes well with green soybeans cream!
By using rapeseed oil instead of butter, this Swiss roll cake becomes fewer calories, so it will be good healthy present of Mother’s day!

3. Sesame Éclair with ginger cream

We make this Éclair rather small than on the market one, for easy to have a nibble of it.
And this ginger cream is nicely hot and sweet taste by syrupy ginger.
This Éclair goes well with ice-cold white champagne or sweet rose!

4. Spinach castella

Spinach powder makes this castella special one by its green color and sweetness of spinach.
You had not better to taste this castella when baking on the same day, but better to taste after 2days, because it will become moist taste.
These healthy Japanese sweets go well with coffee, also green tea.

At this month, Anti-Metabolic Syndrome Recipe coming to twelve times, this means one year’s anniversary !!We will continue to introduce you healthy recipe from

1. Steamed spring clams

Spring is the best season for clams; especially surf clam is becoming big
among spring clams.
We use big shells for dishes. And all ingredients (scallop, ginger, green onion, minced pork) which mixing vigorously put on these shells, and then steam them in a steamer.
Regarded as a fortunate welcoming dish with clam in Japan, especially at spring party!
Surf clams contain a lot of iron for preventing anemia, and also are rich in taurine
for preventing high blood pressure. Taurine is good for improvement of liver
disease and arteriosclerosis. So it would like to say that clams are suitable ingredients for Anti-Metabolic Syndrome Recipe!

2.Egg spring roll

Wrap a lot of simmered vegetables with egg sheet, which cooked thinly, like a spring roll.
By using egg it become satisfied in taste, even if it is using only vegetables,
and become low-calories.

At this month we can introduce you 2 easy recipes, that using seasonal vegetables and shrimp, and these 2 recipes must be helping your busy day!

1.Spaghetti with Sakura shrimp and
butterbur scape

spring is the best season for Sakura shrimp, and butterbur scape. These 2 ingredients are reminiscence of the flower of Sakura and shoot.
By frying butterbur scape with olive oil, its bittersweet taste has been drawn out.
You can also enjoy the crisp taste of Sakura shrimp!
     
2. Spring cabbage and bacon hot salad,

Spring cabbage is so tender even if it is raw, but by heating it, its sweetness
has been increased.
This recipe will finish in no time at all, using by microwave.
It is good point that by using microwave, smaller amount of olive oil is enough for it, than by using frying pan.

April is the beginning season for going on a picnic.
At this mouth, we introduce you healthy homemade sweets, which go well
green-tea, champagne and white wine, and also these sweets are low-calorie.

1.Green tea powder pound cake, spring Japanese style( Sakura and Azuki sweet bean paste)

This Japanese style pound cake, using with white bean sweet paste for
moist taste, but also using with shortening for calorie-cut and crisp taste.
Inside of pound cake, putting Sakura or Azuki sweet bean paste on dough, for picking out bitter taste of powder green tea.
So the double different tastes of this pound cake (moist & crisp, sweet & bitter)
go well coffee and strong green-tea!

2.Spinach swiss roll cake

A bunch of spinach transforms itself into a vivid green swiss roll cake!!
Whip cream with sesame paste is not so sweet, but it is so savory by sesame flavor.
As this swiss roll cake made from the whole bunch of spinach, is rich in iron, so it is recommendatory sweet for preventing anemia,especially for woman.
And also it is good sweet for children who dislike spinach.

3.Apple pound cake

First, simmer apple with squeeze of lemon, cinnamon, and millet sugar. And then,
by adding this whole apple broth, this pound cake become very moist taste.
Apples contain a lot of potassium, which effectives in improvement of
high blood pressure.
And also, apples contain a lot of pectin, which has power for anti-oxidation,
and its power become nine times by heating.
It will be good serving way from now onward that chills this pound cake like pudding.
This pound cake goes well with slightly chilled champagne!
